Jorge was born in Madrid and moved to London(where he is based) in 1994 where he gained a degree in Film & TV production at Westminster College, after which he worked his way up the camera department, first as loader and focus puller then as operator, until getting his break to start as Director of Photography.

Throughout his career as DoP, Jorge has worked in all sort of productions from documentaries and commercials to feature films and TV Dramas, alongside well established directors and producers. He is known for his total involvement and passion in every project, resourceful when under pressure, always mindful about the budget and with time effective methods. All these with an outgoing personality (not always appreciated!!) and good  sense of humour.

Jorge is an active member of the  Spanish Society of Cinematographers,  (AEC) since 2015.

Also a family man, he is father, taxi and wallet to three children.
